Twilight Quilt
Twilight Quilt was written for beginners. It’s the kind of quilt that looks complicated, but it actually not that hard to put together. It is also a skill builder quilt that will let you practice different basic piecing techniques, such as 4-at-a-time half square triangle, no-waste-flying geese, square-in-a-square-block, and strip piecing.
Color choices are endless, I did my experiment by making 4 quilts using only solids for my first(Made with Kona in Blue & Gray), added some prints to my second one (AGF Homebody collection), and partial scrappy version with my third (AGF Velvet Collection), and last one I went with bright and bold color with some fun prints (AGF Andina Collection, image coming soon).
To be honest, I love them all! And it’s almost like they were made from totally different pattern based on fabric I chose. It is fascinating! If you want to try and color your own Twilight Quilt before you start buying fabric. Head to this link and have some fun with your colors!
I hope you enjoy making this quilt as much as I do. And feel free to share your beautiful work with me on instagram with hashtag #twilightquilt or tag me @thaicharmllc
