Perfect quilt for fussy cutting
What is Fussy Cutting?
Fussy cutting is a technique used primarily in quilting where a specific design is carefully cut from fabric to ensure it is centered to create a visually striking effect when the fabric is incorporated into a quilt block.
I chose Medallion print in red and blue from the newest collection by Lisa Audit, called "Countryside" by Riley Blake Designs.
This Omnigrid Fussy cut templates might come in handy for this. (Remember to use code “TCL186SSASA0424“ for 15-20% off)
The Twilight Quilt is made of two different blocks, allowing you to practice your skills with flying geese, half-square triangles, strip piecing, and the square-in-a-square block, where you can incorporate your fussy cutting.
Once you have all the blocks done, your quilt top comes together in no time.
I chose "Paradoxical" pantograph designed by Longarm League for this Twilight light quilt and quilted it with high density to get some great textures.
